Hiwi position available

Scope: 6-8 hours / week, more or less possible, depending on availability and start date.

Starting date: as soon as possible, latest July 2024.

Main task: Creating AI-related lecture and exercise content

Chair: TUM Chair of Traffic Engineering and Control

We are looking to fill a Hiwi position, where the student will assist in the development of content for the new Master Course “AI in Transportation" lectures.  The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in AI-related fields and be proficient in the following areas:

Required skills:

• Expertise in the AI areas:
  • Uninformed, Informed, and Local Search
  • Logic, Reasoning and Knowledge Representations
  • Basics of Traditional Machine Learning
  • Deep Learning
  • Reinforcement Learning
• Experience with either one of PyTorch, Tensorflow or GoogleColab and interest in learning the others
• Proficient Python skills, with a strong emphasis on utilizing libraries such as TensorFlow and Keras.
• Strong PowerPoint skills

Ideally, the student is looking for an at least one-year commitment at the chair and can help with correcting exercises etc. when the course starts in winter-semester 2024.
